Admit cards and exam date for Karachi University External Candidates Examination (2006)

After waiting patiently for the Admit Card with no luck, I called Karachi University today and asked them when the examinations will start. They confirmed the following on phone:

1. Exams will start from 5th July, 2006 onwards
2. Duplicate admit cards are being issued by the external examination department

I would suggest that instead of taking the risk and waiting till the last moment for the admit card, it would be better to get a duplicate admit card issued. Be sure to take photographs, registration card, etc. with you – because you never know! I will be going to get a duplicate card issued tomorrow morning and will post details here about my experience. Best of luck!

me a student of Bcom…. i want to say that fuck KU… BCOZ There is no confirmation of the date sheet and some mother fucker says that exams are on 12 some 13 some after eid… so how can we pepare our self for it… if KU is not interested in Bcom students so why they Randi K Bachay Conduct this exam…

I would like to inform you all that because of the unconfirmed date of B Com (Private) Examination I faced a lot of problems. As I am staying out of Pakistan and I want to complete my education for which I registered with KU. I called KU for the examination date and the people misguide me on phone by telling me the date of 12 december and I planned my vacation from the office and came to pakistan to give the exams and then I was shocked to hear that it is posponed and will be held after eid and then I stay till eid and then again the date was not confirmed and my visa and vacation from my office is overdue, so I have to move from pakistan. Now I am coming again to give papers only which is starting from 26 january 2007. I hope there will not be any change. The B Com papers are actually for the year 2006 and It should be held in 2006 not in 2007. I request KU Administration to organise the system, as our country will never be successful until we will have a proper system. best of luck to all.

b.com exam 2007 on 30 nov 2007 it is confirmed date at present because the last meeting held between professors and k.u. it was decided to conduct exams from30 nov.first it was 7 december but due to unknown reasons it date waas move back to 30 nov.best of luck for exams may god passes us with good grade .ameen bye

the officials of university may explain that why they failed to send admit card and registration card to the proper address, though two envelopes are essentially required with forum. during exam days why is this necessary to vex external students? whether university afraid to literacy rate go up?

yahan ka koi rule nai hai ager papers honey hain 15 ya 14 ko tu phir abhi tak koi date sheet nai aii aur nai honey tu batatey kio nahi hai yeh KU waley….. wasey elections ke baad nai hosaktey is tarah tu humara pora ek year waste hora ha hai….15 14 ko hi hoon gay isahi yeh loog confuse karey hai ..bcom waloon ko koi importantce hi nai detey ba aur bsc k tu papers start bhi hogaye hain

Has ku announced the new date sheet after the benazir incident?? I cant find anything on their website…The exams obviously wudnt take place in the 3 day mournig period so they’ll have to make some changes i guess…Im re-appearing in adv acconunting which was suppose to be on 14th Jan..

How are you all. Guys University of Karachi announced the examination details of B.COM Part I [Private]. Please check out the info given below.

” All BA/BSc/BCom degree examination scheduled till Jan 10, 2008 have been postponed. Schedule after Jan 10 will remain as it was originally notified. Revised schedule for the left over exams will be announced later “.

So Be Calm and Relax. The date has been postponed. Majority is saying, the paper will be held after elections and date will be finalized in the month of FEBRUARY.

Guys, University Of Karachi has announced revised date sheet for the candidate of B.COM Part I and II. I’m concerned to B.COM Part I therefore I’m sharing revised dates for last 4 Papers of Part I.

1- 22nd January – Islamiat
2- 24th January – Accounts
3- 26th January – Economics
4- 29th January – Pak. Studies

Hope you have noted the rescheduled. (Ext.) candidates have to wait for their examination schedule.

ye KU walon ko tu bahana chaiay exams postpone kernay ka…BC itna late kernay ki kia zarurat thi…We all know everything is coming back to normal but for KU it wont be normal till 22nd Jan…isi liay the postponed exams continue from tht date…
Now comin to Part 1 Private…im more concerned about the private ones cuz im appearing in those exams but god knows when the exams are gonna start…WE GOT OUR OWN LIVES ASWELL KU STUPID ADMIN…but they just want us to keep waitin for the date sheets till the last moment!!..

Guyz who are apprearing for (External Exams) are requested to please read full date sheet page.

At the bottom of the page it is written that

“Those students who have been registered in 2005 will appear in the Examinations accordingly to the New Syllabus and they are not required to appear in paper -VII (Bankin and Finance) of B.COM Part I.”

Is anyone there?!! HEllo??! Please reply and let me know as soon as possible! – my question was regarding the subject [islamic studies(sunni) - opt] for (B.A part1) and if the notes or the book\guide are available in english? And please include the contact number.

I personally think that its “very” wierd that the exam paper is in both languages (urdu\english) but the bookstores i’ve contacted, they’re saying that the book for the subject isnt available in english (or as they put it) -> it never was published in english… Duh ! does that make sense?! lol, its plain wierd!

This proves the efficiency of Pakistan Education System. There is no way to know when the exams are being held. I registered for BA private exams that are to be held somewhere in October 2008 or so ive heard. I have repeatedly called KU and mailed them without a reply as was expected!
To make matters worse all i have so far is a registration card and now i think i need an admit card too? Is that so? How and where can i get that from? And after all this how can i know if i am enrolled in the exams? WHen are the exams?
Is there anyone who can actually answer these questions?

Note down the below information:..

1- The last date for the submission of forms is 8 September 2008
2- Examination of B.COM II (reg) will be held in the month of November. Date is 9 but it can be revised.
3- Examnination of B.COM II (pvt) will be held in the month of December – January (2009)

Hi.

I just need a clarification from someone if possible please.

This is with reference to the B com Part 2 regular Accounts paper for 2007.

Last year there were 2 dates for Accounts for B Com part 2. One was for the students with the new syllabus/format and the other for the students with the old syllabus/format. Can anyone please tell me the difference. my enrollment is before 2002 which means that my paper will be according to the old syllabus/format.

I know that the new syllabus has 10 questions out of which 5 have to be answered but what is the situation with the old syllabus/format.

Please help, this is my last chance to give the paper this year.

i did my B.Com form Punjab university. I can’t understand the system of karachi university. University of Punjab is larger then KU but never we face such type of complaintes.
i think the VC of KU is deep and duuum he is not intersted too set this system.

I was enrolled for karachi university exams BA part1 in the year 2000, but i had to leave college and my studies. now i want to complete my bachelors degree. is there some way i can get admission in Ba part 2 and give both part 1 and part 2 exams together?

hi frnds i have to tell u that i’ve heard k hamarey papers after eid hongey b.com likin date tu 25th hi hai likin ye un logoon ki hai jin ka batch khatam hogaya hai aur un k papers clear nai hoey matlab 2004 2005 2006 waloon k batach matalb jo khatam hogaye hai aur part 1 aur part 11 k after eid hogey mein ne govt coll k teacher se jin ka KU mein kafi link hai aur apney coaching k sir jo DHA k teacher hain un se pata chala hai….likin phr b mein aj after coaching confirm kar k yhan inform karoon giii ..so just chill abhi kafii time hai preperation k liyee aur admit cards 20th k baad ana start hongay…

U dont have to worry ayesha,u don’t need to cancel ur b.Com registration if u want to do B.A so u need to go to K.U fr admission or otherwise u hve to go to some woman colleges for registration fr B.A.Or if u hardly wnt to cancel ur registration thn the k.u staff will help u ya jis college ki taraf sy ap ny b.com k exams diye hain un sy ap apni registration cancel krwa skti hain.

hello….sorry for late reply…i forgot yeasterday to post the comment khair yehi batana tha k abhi tak tu yahi sona hai k after eid hongey papers is baar failures k phehley hongey jin k batch khatam hogey hain ……phr hamarey hongey..likin sir ne bataya hai k most probably ek paper phely hojayee likin chance kam hai jesyy part 1 b.com ka koi asaan sa like islamiate khair dekhein k kia hota hai wasey aj mujhe ye bhi pata chala hai k mere couzin k coaching mein bhi kal yahi baat bataiin hain paers k barey mein….mujhe is liye bhi confirm lagraha hai kion k mein ne ye kisi student se nai teachers se suna hai aur ye baat i guess 60% confirm hai….

B.Com k Exam ki date sheet a gai hai khi uni ki site per date sheet mojood hai. Just click on News Flash then u can see the date sheet of B.Com. It is started from 25th of November 2008.
